You go back to WOW.

What is a good guild? What if there's none on my server?

They took almost everything from WoW. They should take that LFG thing too.

No you people who want the LFD tool need to. That is why people came here. People do not want the BS anti social use the LFD tool so you can get geared up BS. No they do not need to LFG tool that Destroyed the MMO community.

Why I left WoW besides it was boring. Simple, The Mentality of the players that no longer feel that guilds or friends are necessity. It all came about because of the LFD tool. I know countless people that left included myself because of that. There is a game that has it, you want it go play that game. SWTOR is not WoW. Same as Rift is not SWTOR, or EQ2. You want these features go play that game.

I don't know, I'm conflicted. On one hand, I've enjoyed meeting people on my server while trying to find groups. I've friend listed quite a few people I've pugged with and done more runs with them. Lately I've found getting groups easier as I've gotten to know more tanks and healers on my server. Today we formed a group for Maelstrom Prison in barely 5 minutes.

On the other hand, there are times I'll try to get a group going and nobody will be online. Instead of spamming General chat for a group it would be more efficient to wait in a queue like WoW's LFG tool.

Make friends, Join a guild that fix you. Its not hard to get runs going. If you play like a single player and dont try to find a group of people like you, its your own fault.
guild must be really huge, like a two hundrend ppl to make a group for run that you need in reasonable time and guess what? if you lvl 1 and other 199 ppl already lvl-up what do you do? expect for others to lvl-up alt? ask higlvl to help you?

it won't work

Stop trolling and read my post. This game is even worse than WoW when it comes to anti social behavior. Just look at the few groups you get today, they are full of ninjas and people that can hardly play their class. Just because they get to do so few dungeons (fp). Not having LFD tool is just making people go out and do SOLO quests and that ruins the community.
If you want a good community make a thread asking bioware to remove companions and quests, they are ruining the community more than anything else in this game.
@ Bioware
Stop trolling the EU. Fix the downtimes to the middle of the night and not in the middle of the morning / day.

I don't know what server or side you are playing, but Republic side on the Elysium server isn't anti-social at all. There just isn't ppl in gen/trade chat being e-tards. When I'm out on a world, gen chat isn't really all that quiet during peak times. IF there were a LFD tool, ppl wouldn't even bother getting to know people on the server (as was the case when I still played wow) because it was all about lfd/lfr so you didn't have to go through the trouble of finding out who sucks... you must've not played wow in vanilla or were just a baddie that wasn't given a raid slot. And btw, not a single ninja yet out of 7 days played across 3 toons.

Honestly, guilds and friends really aren't a necessity in wow anymore. LFR (which is related to LFG in concept) made sure of that. They made it so that you didn't have to work for it. But why are we talking about that POS game again? oh, yeah... people want to ruin this game with the same tools that wrecked that one. What happened to work your *** off to make something happen? Raiding/Ops is a reward/privilege, not a right.

A good guild is typically a guild full of people that have the same mindset as you and have the same aspirations as you do. If there are none, make one. If come ops time it's full of baddies then teach them. End-game content isn't supposed to be a faceroll, it's a learning experience and if people can't learn then they don't go anymore. I'm not sure if the last part fits what you consider a "good guild" but that seems to be the general consensus from ex wow players. From what I saw in the last months it was less about having fun and more of "My e-peen is bigger than yours"

Why do you think you are the majority?
Community? What is it?
