Well I hate when someone does it to me so I don't do it to others, BUT how can I be sure you are fighting mobs for THIS quest item?! Maybe you are just farming them, or doing bonus quests...it did happen to me more than once. I see a guy overwhelmed with mobs, I force jump into the fight to help him out so he can take the quest and he starts yelling at me "#$#"$&$/$#? this was my mob, I need them for this and that you &$$"#&".
Or I just stand in line and guys walks away after killing them without taking the quest item.

Thankfully this game has very big "+" sign that will send party inv and I'm using it a lot. Just click on the guy fighting, "+", right click q item, help kill mobs and go your way after saying "Thnx".

IMHO this is a polite version of helping/ninjaing q items . But do not be mistaken, this q item does not have you name on it, you didn't TAG it like mobs...I just can't be 100% sure you need it.

It's the anonymity of the internet at play here and as the blackhearted cynic I am, I'm quite certain that these ******es would be the same kind of unabashed douchebags in real life too if there'd been no consequences to deter such behavior.
Hi! I'm Darth Harrington of Darth Harrington's Intergalactic Proton Powered Electrical Tentacled Advertising Droids Emporium and Moon Base. Due to a garbled subspace transmission, I am currently overstocked on all Intergalactic Proton Powered Electrical Tentacled Advertising Droids, and I am passing the savings onto yoooou!

I don't understand why global quest objectives have a respawn timer of upwards of 5 minutes, they should just become unclickable for those who used them rather than disappear for those who haven't

it's the fault of the devs. are you supposed to know that someone else has to click the same object you have to? i've had it happen to me and i've done it too. i hate waiting a frikken minute to make the item come back. for something that multiple people have to activate, they should remove the timer and only let the one's who click it see the animation of destruction or what not.

If a gold star enemy is standing in front of a mission object you need to interact with (i.e. a console), and you engage him to do this, but while fighting him someone else runs up and interacts with the object, is this wrong?

For me, I guess it's a little bit cheeky, but ultimately it doesn't bother me a huge amount. In my eyes, I'm getting some possibly nice loot from the gold star enemy. If they drop a blue item, maybe it's not so bad!

it is not the fault of the devs or anyone else. It is YOUR decision as an individual.

Stop, Look, and Think before you do something. It is not difficult. Take stick of what you are doing and how it effects others around you BEFORE you do something.

You would not dream of acting in this manner in real life, pushing another aside to get what you want while in a store so why do people try to justify these actions online.

You're absolutely right, you're not entitled to it.

So why are you complaining about people looting items you're not entitled too?
