The worst thing for me is that it doesn't even make sens to buy centurion gear as a filler. You buy the centurion head and then you drop the head token for champion. Same for battlemaster -> champion. We should be able to chose what piece of armor we want, not getting a random token.

I vote yes.
In fact it'd actually make people, you know, play the game for objectives, even in the endgame!

p.s. serverwide(one for both sides) permanent scoreboards (that are accessable from anywhere) that reset every month, -only- for battlemasters, showing top heals, top damage, top kills, top objective score etc.

starting to wonder if I should go for battlemaster gear seeing as I have 0 champion. I'm rank 41. I always have bad luck in RNG drop games and this game is proving no exception. what do you think?

Such a great idea. And I bet, because such is the suck that is life, that Bioware either won't read this, or they will, ignore this and any other solution, and keep the RNG system.

I'd love to be proven wrong and have to eat these words with hot sauce.

I don't mind the bag system that much! Having a lottery that you can spend extra low-grade currency (like Merc/Warz commendations) on is perfectly okay with me!

It being the only way to get gear is *********** terrible. It being the only way to get gear AND it being limited in terms of how many you can achieve in a given day is -also- terrible.

This is a, frankly, brilliant idea and should be implemented immediately. I have nothing to add it or take away from it; this is good.

I'm only disappointed by the fact that I severely doubt anybody that ought to care most will care at all, or possibly even see this smashingly good idea.

Possibly too intelligent; will probably be ignored in favor of several useless tweaking cycles followed in 9-15 months by a modest overhaul that doesn't actually improve anything, but alienates and outrages PVPers en'masse.

Man, I hope I'm wrong. Why do I find myself futilely hoping that so much in MMO's these days?

I've had my web browser open on my thread for days just selfbumping or answering people who ask questions or addressing concerns or any number of things. I added a few notes (like a FAQ sorta deal) on the first page because we had a few folks talking about the same concerns, but... -man- I hope I get some attention. That would be so nice.

I think you're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. :/ The system makes no sense the way it's put together; my advice would be to run on the wheel as much as you can stomach now and hope they make some kind of positive change as time goes on.
