You imbeciles who keep saying that it's just to make money may have some ground to stand on if they were giving away a mount or something like that. But a title? lol.
If it weren't a cash grab, they'd be giving it to everyone currently playing with a paid copy of the game.

But since it's ONLY for people who are confirmed to have paid a subscription fee, yeah, it's a cash grab.

You know, I would not be surprised if this happened. They're already giving Kingdom of Amalur bonuses for playing ME3, why not one of their own games?

This is how far my opinion of Bioware has fallen, that I now think of such a thing as probable.

All the diehard fans in the world won't make the Cubs win the world series.

I've seen it on the snail-mail digest of play-by-mail games. I've heard people say it verbally in my physical presence about a game we played which didn't have any player-to-player communication because it was 1979.

New content breaks things. Developers will always be accused of not listening. Game design staff will always be told they should fix bugs before releasing new content, but at the same time will be told they're idiots for delaying new content.

Some users will never be happy. They cannot be pleased; it is an impossibility to do so. A good game company will simply listen to them, nod their heads and smile, and carry on.

Now, the rest of us who understand that stuff happens will chuckle, pick up the mouse and adapt to the circumstances and play for as long as the game continues to deliver entertaiment commensurate with its price.

I always like the idea of vet rewards, but rarely have I ever been able to stick with a game so long that it's become a cool bragging right. So far, while I'm enjoying the game, I don't know as to whether or not I really see long term playability. As it stands I feel like I'm mostly playing a regular offline RPG that has some optional multiplayer modes.

You, are a Biodrone and you're hurting the game by letting Bioware think everything is just fine. But don't worry, those of us who want to see the game succeed will drag the Biodrones and fanboi's along kicking and screaming while we rally for Bioware to fix their game. You'll thank us in the end.
