There were titles available in beta that aren't now. They'd still be on your character, but they deleted all the beta characters.

And seriously? Bioware offered to you into their game early, and you want to be rewarded again for accepting it?

Some people really will complain about anything.

There's nothing to say that there won't be more customer appreciation rewards down the line (such as ones that recognize the Anniversary/Longevity of a subscription). The Founders title might simply be the first little "thank you" of many and in no way the biggest.

Even if it's not, it's still a nice gesture if nothing else.

This thread is made of win.

In the right corner, wearing peuce boxers and sipping a glass of whine: The haters who don't appreciate a "thank you" and ask for more when they're getting something for free.

In the left corner, wearing the Bioware Logo boxers and drinking Kool-Aid: The fanbois who love it all way too much.

No, make that "made of lose".

I pre-ordered the game and have an active subscription. I havent received my founders title yet. Is that normal?

I think this is a neat idea. I wish WoW would have done something like this =P I was a member of WoW until this game. Still a long road for you to go on BW but I still love you.

Instead BW implemented a little tested fix for the smallest population of the community who were never going to be happy regardless of what it did.

That's my problem with BW... I agree the game has potential. How many times did Wow crash in its infancy. I missed the time it crashed completely and folks had to start over from scratch (of course BW couldn't go wrong if they fixed a bunch of stuff and deleted character data and we had to start over)

BUT- their priorities are totally screwed up. Trying to appease the faction that is most likely to leave as soons as GW2 or other comes out... verses those who are still in the 30 day trial?

Pretty stupid- and self-destructive.

As for Founder stats- If they'd offered LOTRO style Founder status- lifetime gameplay (no monthly fees), perks with every new expansion, etc. That might be a compelling reason to pay up front and or stick around. A title is a joke- and a bad joke at that.
It's not stupid really. All it is .... is revealing. BioWare are PvPers. If they can't PvP then Raids will do until they can PvP again. Any other content to them is lame and substandard, including Crafting / Crew Skills (look at which Crew skill works best... and second best... they need them for PvP)

We should have known where BioWare's heart is back when they made the wise crack about Asteroid Mining at the Gaming convention....

At least I know now what to expect from this game. BioWare isn't wrong or "evil" in this, it's ME that doesn't fit here, and it's ME that needs to adapt or leave (Bioware won't obviously). At least I will have a great time until level 45 or so.

Seriously, BW could send them all bricks of gold and they would complain that gold is too heavy.
Your post is the only tread worth quoting. Well said. Pay no attention BW, I Like the game and spend many hours playing it and thank you for the title.

I can honestly say i haven't had any problems with the game at all but i do only play it for roughly 2-3 hours a week. Maybe thats the problem all you face.

If you Level to max level in a massive rush before the expected time of a game on launch your bound to run in to issues. I am expecting a massive rush of flames for my comments but i really don't care.
