EV Pylon part bugged?

When we get to the second wave of elites, like 5 of them spawn and they're pretty much impossible to kill....

Anyone else having this problem?

We tried resetting the instance too, still same thing....
Derity: Level 50 Sniper
Next: Level 50 Assassin

yep we're having the same issue, as are another group on our server, great fix

does ANYONE test this stuff?

On hard mode at least, youre supposed to do it like this, at least thats what we do..

have two teams on each side, figure out the right turns before you aggro the mobs and start turning the wheels..

everytime you have to lock on the right symbol, you have to sync it with the other side so they lock in at the same time..

This is what we did... still the wheels became unturnable... and those acklay mobs started spawning like crazy after a while..

Are we missing something? we did this in hardmode pre patch without figuring out the turns before we started turning them on the spot.. and it worked okay when we started syncing the lock on's... Tbh, I am not so happy for the ev fixes since it seemes to have only screwed up the pylon fight, so now we wont be able to progress any further until they hotfix it... -.-

That's no bug, you're too slow.

Edit : We just did it on nightmare.

Having the same issue. We have been doing this for about a month now and haven't seen more than one elite spawn during the encounter... now we are getting 5 at a time towards the end.

UPDATE: We reset the instance and it fixed the problem.

We had the same problem on Nightmare (+4 Acklays at the same time, consoles not being clickable after a solve) and we managed to finish it like this:

North pillar solves first wheel first.
South pillar solves second and third wheel first.
North pillar solves last wheel first.

So its North South South North. Figure out how the wheel works and how many left/right clicks you need to solve each wheel, and coordinate with the other team so you finish in that pattern.

So far, we have completed every Pylon 'kill' this way. And this was on Nightmare.

We're working on 16 man regular, and we are getting alot of adds. Last week we one shot it on 8 man reg and hard mode.

This. It's essentially a soft enrage.

We had the same issue, but once we tried actually going quickly instead of messing around, we were able to do it.

The encounter didn't have a "soft enrage" before the patch, and there's no mention of adding an enrage in the patch notes. We used to take our time with this encounter the first few times, so I can assure you that a soft enrage didn't exist pre-patch.
We also succeeded after the 5th time of wiping on the third wheel with 5 Acklays spawning, we just turned them crazy fast and managed to lock both Pylons before the 15 or so Acklays at that point killed us.
