Anyone else getting the swtor.exe - Application Error
The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0150002)

I have been granted early access and after downloads all the patches ect. this is what i get this morning...

If anyone else has gotten this and knows how to fix it please let me know. I really don't want to uninstall and start over. Dowloading about 20GB takes a long time...

Don't bother trying to reload the game!!!......

We just did and even formatted and reloaded Windows and updated all the Hardware drivers as well. WE STILL GOT THE SAME ERROR MESSAGE AFTER ALL THAT!

WE ARE RUNNING ON

ASUS M2NE MOBO,
4800 PROCESSOR DUAL CORE
2 GIG RAM (WILL INCREASE IT SOON)
9800 GT VIDEO CARD

Happy to hear from others with similar troubles and would be grateful for suggestions.

Thanks,

M

Well at least we're not alone... I sent a email to customer service, but i assume they are being overwhelmed right now. Hopefully we will get some useful info soon.

Hang in there we will get to play eventually.

Also you may want to check out this thread with the same issue. Doesn't seem like anyone had resolved anything though.

We are now on and working !!

go to microsoft and load the direct x driver and it will work.
Directx june_2010.

Some one from tech support posted the link in this chat. Please perform a search for direct x and you should find it.

Good luck.
