Will an ATI Radeon HD 5450 run TOR?

I'm not looking for max settings everywhere, I really just want to make sure I'd be able to run it with a decent framerate at the lowest settings possible, before actually buying it.

I know my 5870 is better, but running max settings at 1080 is really pushing my card, and the fan is spinning at 100% which is really loud almost all the time (usually I turn the shadows to low), comparing the performance to the graphics, it's really embarrassing in my opinion.
The graphics are from a 2005 game, yet my rig and similar rigs struggle to keep up with max settings.
I'm afraid I can't help you in this matter, but I think posting your resolution might help others figure this out, also MMOs are pretty CPU heavy in general, so that might be one thing to consider!
Other than the performance, and graphics the game is just absolutely amazing.

It will run SWTOR at all the settings lowest, shadows off. As far as enjoying it? Forget it, FPS sucks no matter the drivers or tweaks. You can play the storyline but forget any kind of flashpoints or pvp. This card is trash yet runs better than a GeForce 7800 GTX OC. So, in my opinion something is wrong with the game. If it's not fixed soon I am out .

Kind of a joke to put character view distance in but on low I can still see them miles away and trees and mountains for miles. This game needs a view distance but not just for players, for all graphics.

i have the card you are speaking of (hd 5450) and if you have only one, you will not be able to run it on all max, esp in locations with much gras/flowers and light effects your framerate will drop.
but you can run the game on fairly high settings with a framerate of like 20/25 and if you really just want to play on low settings it will be fine.

i have not tried pvp, but flashpoints are fine for me.

Short answer: Yes, if you want to put everything on low or off
Shadows off, enviro effects off, rest low.

I have that P. O. S, and I tell you what it's not my whole system that makes doing anything hard unbearable. It's the card.

I have one. Everything can be maxed except shadows, which should stay on the low setting.
