I agree. I'm just saying that if he's going to say something that will offend a lot of people because of one annoying guy, maybe a deep breath or two is necessary.

I had my hopes of getting in yesterday too like everyone else (2nd wave today but stuck at work). However I knew my feelings of disappointment at not making it in was my own problem and shut the hell up about it. Community managers are not customer service or support agents. You are right that a CS person should never say that to a customer. That said IMO sometimes someone needs to be there to tell the customer they are wrong.

After so much annoyance, any retail operation I've seen would call the cops/throw the disruptive person out. This sounds like the equivalent of that.
