SOA difficulty in comparison to EV

This is not a complaint thread-

Does anybody else feel like the DPS requirements on SOA are ridiculous in comparison to the first 4 bosses in EV?

First off- I have killed it on normal, while killing 4/5 on Hardmode/NM.

I feel like the first 4 on EV both hard and normal are 100% a joke. However, the DPS requirements needed to fulfill SOA do not seem equal to the rest of EV and I am definitely not requesting SOA be nerfed on any level.

What do you guys think?

This is the case for most of the hardmodes and operations. There will be one encounter that is significantly harder than the cakewalk that is the rest of the flashpoint. I just don't think things are ironed out very well and there certainly is no clear difficulty curve.

I'm worried that hardmode Soa will just plain be impossible with our raid group of all melee dps (these things happen). But the ranged vs melee thing is a whole other issue.
Chewie and I have gotten into pants more heavily guarded than this.

I think it is fine because at least there is one boss where we need a little extra push

Every fight is just a massive gear check with outdated boring enrage timer mechanics. Need to get more creative than just adding enrage timers to fights and include mechanics that make people think on their feet.
