Scared of swtor being a fad

I actually laughed out loud when i read your comment, not becasue it's bad or funny but you just hit the nail on the head. though in a way you didn't intend i think...

1) I do not feel this is a WoW Clone.... it's two factions, with limited classses... it's more an AION clone in that aspect. it has ideas that have been in MMO's since before WoW existed. and is using ideas from mmo's that date to day one. more in a minute

2) the people here that complain if x doesn't happen i'm out... or i'm going back to WoW... they only want to impliment the ideas they think would benefit them from their WoW experience (IE: looking for Dungeon tool everyone sooooooooo wants... wait i don't want it... so everyone can't want it.)

3) it is a new game, and people don't treat it as such, they think that BW/EA had access to all of the secret files and notes from WoW and it should be perfect day one. hell WoW still isn't perfect and never will be, no mmo ever will be.

now a few things that are being used in SWTOR that peopel equate to begining in wow: skill trees... started in EQ1 with the Alternate Advancements and Wow changed it to more of a skill tree, AA had pre-reqs but there was no true "TREE". this one is not something in SWTOR YET but will be eventually as said by the devs. UI modifications. WoW did not start UI mods. EQ1 did. back in 2000-2001 between Velious and Shadows of Luclin. they changed the ui to one that could be modded. this is something that has to be done RIGHT or it will become a bad thing. There are more but this post is getting too long.

This game I think might do better then most mmo games just cause it is star wars

ok i am sorry this is INCORRECT... if Blizzard games are FINISHED then they would not have had to try to change the character graphics in Cata. that is the biggest reason i didn't like WoW in the first place is the 2001 artwork on the characters with a 2004 release. (another 2004 release that did not have this type of artwork is EQ2) and CATA did not change it much at all, so blizard games are not finished. no mmo can ever come out finished. and honestly I just had to rebut the finished aspect, I do not expect you to even care as you obviously decided to not continue playing SWTOR so my post is not for you but for those that do stay.
