I've noticed how the SWTOR's world zones are designed in a way that restricts your freedom you can't run 100 meters in a direction without hitting some sort of barrier as opposed to games with open worlds that you can roam freely, it feels like each zone has a pre-determined path guiding you whether you like it or not, the zones are similar to a glorified hallway.... i've noticed the same design in dragon age origins, mass effect ....
is boiware doing this to reduce production cost and time spent developing?
