Yeah, this is the biggest issue I'm seeing with SWTOR.. replay value.

R.I.P SWTOR: Dec 20th, 2011 - Jan 20th, 2012. Such a short life.

The lack of innovation is what makes me dislike the game. It's pretty much a horribly unpolished version of WoW with crappy PvP and less content.

I fail to see how they're going to compete with an already established game by copying almost everything.

After playing WoW on and off since vanilla, I was aching for an MMO that felt fresh and unique. This is just more of the same, sadly enough.

4.5/10

8/10 due to a couple of reasons. The texture issues (the dumbed down client when it comes to graphic settings all together, really), no sound when tabbing, the skill delays, lag spikes, various bugs with quest points not showing up on the map, the lack of addons and the lack of an LFG tool.

In 6 to 12 months it could probably be a fantastic game.

6/10 Same as I give it every time.

It's an okay game but besides the story line and voice overs it brings absolutely nothing new to the MMO genre.

8/10 Right now.

In a few months once things start settling out is when ratings will really matter.

No game ever deservers a 10.

For SWTOR = 8.5

I give it this score only because of the Space Combat which in my opinion was just tacked on to say that they HAVE space combat. It would make a much better Cantina arcade game then to treat it as a real space combat component of SWTOR. IF Bioware comes up with something better, I will change that score to 9 or 9.5.

Give me an MMO that I can visit and have fun! Where what I pay for is not going to those that play for free.

6/10.

This game is a step backwards in a genre that needs to move forward.

Now it can be argued that the mmos of old were far better than the mmos of new, and to a point I agree. These days, however, we have more intuitive controls, UIs, and a much more fleshed out and thoughtful set of features. That is where this game steps backwards.

If it had stepped backwards in other areas, such as going from instancing back to full open worlds ala Asherons Call and Ultima Online, I would be very pleased.

However, it didn't. It gave us safe, closed off little areas with very little player interaction, along with outdated interfaces.
