No, you know as well as others here you're pedaling snakeoil. Good lure though.

This guy is an idiot, and there's no way in hell he's an analyst (or if he is, 2008 makes a hell of a lot more sense). His post lacked a basic understanding of introductory economics. This was not a financial analysis, it was a long-winded nerd whine dressed up with basic finance terms.

You do NOT shut down a business/project that is turning profit, or even just breaking even. What BUSINESS would cut off their profits for two months in order to sink MORE money into a product that already supposedly opened poorly and had poor prospects, especially in a market where first impressions are everything?

And what investor would not invest in a business that looked to be highly profitable on the basis that it would not wipe the competition out of the market, or the feeling that it could have made a better product than it did? That's how stupid, angry nerds think. Not investors.

Why don't you read my post above and explain to me how he derived his analytical information in a mature and concise manner instad of trolling and saying we are making excuses?

Are you capable?

Actually, this guy is either A) A Very junior investory B) has no idea what he's talking about.
Anybody worth their weight in salt knows that the public doesn't have ANYWHERE near the metrics or information to make the calls that he is making.

Just another troll.

It doesn't count as bleeding if one person cancels and one signs up,

The basics of data analysis/analytics

•Data collection
•Data collation
•Summary measures of the data
•Conclusions based on the above

Data collection - no it's a gut feeling
Data collation - he doesn't have any data
Summary of data - no he doesn't hav any data
Conclusion based on data - impossible he doesn't have any data

BTW, i am just pointing out what analytics are, not sure why you hae the fanboi remark except for lack of vocabulary or comprehension.

Logic does not a good point make. The game has been out for 3 weeks. Hardly enough time to start hyper analyzing everything. OP is a scumbag.

wow 17 pages.

Also,

Something I forgot to mention, that some of you hit upon.

Full voice over immersion which is a first on this scale.

I liked it, it is interested, and it has its pros and cons.

If the game mechanics could have been better if the voice over was toed down or held back to a degree, than it was a misstep. If one had nothing to do with another, then KUDOS :-)

Like many say, this is a great single player game at core. Bioware does them extremely well in my opinion. I play Dragon Age and Mass Effect.

on an MMO scale, it is lacking, that community component especially.

If Bioware reads this, let me say great attempt and that there is nothing wrong taking a few ideas from other games.

Such as.

We have space ships (personal houses if you will.)

Make trophy drops and small things you can customize the area wit (like LOTRO.)

Using dungeon finder and cross server instance / PVP (like WOW)

Use the Aion combat model (chain skills) or the fluid animation model (of wow) don't go there macro route of rift though ... please don;t do that!

I could go on and on ... all of this screams potential .. sure.

But there are limiting factors, which I also mentioned.

Cost

Talent

Time

All I can say is we will see ... but from what I know now, from what has been said by Bioware, and the ambiguity surrounding many of the major bugs / concerns the players have ... and changes we want ... doesn't speak well of a company (especially in terms of credibility, sincerity and openness.)

Maybe the fact that he's full of crap posting anonymously on a forum doesn't mean something to you but we who use our gray matter do take that into account.

Evidently, the OP's well-reasoned and logical post has made many a fanboy's cranium implode.
