Okay looking at your signature is that because you guys can seriously get away with it since you're so good? Or is it that easy? (On normal at least).

For normal mode you can probably do 1 tank, 6 dps and 1 healer (good geared). 1 Dps offhealing when neccessary and then have a assassin or jugg offtank on Pylons.

Normal mode is a joke, it's doable within 1 hour.

Normal modes are really a joke. Have everyone watch the strategy videos in my signature (Not trying to get free views, just want you to know what you're getting into) and you should be able to walk right through it.

You can probably 1heal it if you really need to, but we always bring 2 healers just to make it easier. You might feel like you need a 3rd healer your first few times on Soa, but trust me once you get used to the encounter you will no longer think that.

After you kill everything once, the next week you will see how easy it is. I would expect to put some time into it the 1st night though, it may take you a few hours to work your way through it.

Also, I do not have the 3rd or 4th boss videos uploaded yet. Here is the basic rundown:

The 3rd boss is a puzzle boss (this is why we run 2 healers also). You split the group into 2 groups of 4 and send 1 group to each of the 2 puzzles. There are 3 color blocks in lines on the puzzle, the middle one is different. You have to turn the wheel left or right to make the middle match the outside. Adds spawn while you do this, just dps them down. Eventually an elite will spawn. We usually just CC the elite until the encounter is over. here is the color wheel.

Red <- Purple <- Blue box <- Yellow <- blue circle <- Green

Basically, if the center is purple, and you need it to be red, click the left button.

4th boss you all just 1v1 a target. Put healers on assassins, outside of that I don't remember who gets what.

Hope this helps! If you have any questions... I'm going to bed now but I'll leave the thread open and answer them once I get up for raid.

Where does melee or a melee tank stand to affect the turrets? Couldn't find a spot not atop the turret pylon to melee them as a Immortal Juggernaut. Also, what do the power cells on the turret bases have to do with the turrets (ie kill them or ignore)? Finally, the add waves will stop after a while; allowing the raid to focus on the turrets only?

These questions about the breakin fight obviously. Had an exploration attempt with a pug raid that was massively discourging as a Juggernaut. Leap on the turrets put me up on the pylon, but the healers said they couldn't heal me. Didn't find any where not on the pylon to be able to engage the turret. We wern't cc'ing the turrets, so it was incredibly frustrating trying to figure out how to be in range of the turrets, be healable, and keep agro while being hammered by them. Think 8 to 12 seconds to look before wipe starts.

Killing the power cells lowers the health of the turrets; that's how melee are supposed to damage the turrets. However, it only works when you actually kill one of the cells

The way you need to kill the turrets, especially in hard/nightmare, is to cc them both then kill adds, then stun-lock one as you kill it. Keep killing adds, wait for stun CDs to go off, and then repeat. Easy

Since normal mode and hard/nightmare are on different lockouts i try to do both each week. But when i switch the operation to hard/nightmare mode it doesnt switch over. All the trash and bosses are still dead. Is there something else that needs to be done to change it to a harder difficulty?
