For me the only high priority they should have is fixing bugs (like the glaring light, evade bugs) and then more playable content. The playable content will be what keeps me playing in the long run.

Overhauling the galactic market? It works, why? A customizable UI. Nice to have but not really needed.

I do agree that you've listed lots of annoying bugs and missing features but with some points in your list, I STRONGLY disagree!

I do not want to see in game at all:
-player made addons
- combat log

I.E. I don't want to see this game converted to another copy of WoW. RPG is a game about Role Playing, interacting with other players, doing quests, groups and raids together for fun and achievements but not about GearScore() or DPS/Treat meters. This really makes game stupid and unplayable.

I started reading this thread and I was thinking "Oh great another noob QQing about the game". After reading the entire post, I have to say there was not one idea I disagreed with, especially the UI issue, I mean even if you don't want to do it yourselves. At least allow some plugin support so the community can create plugins to customize it. Macros I personally don't have as much of an issue with because I have a keyboard with macro keys on it. If I did not, it would definitely be a problem though, just for simple things like recruiting it is nice to have.

Also, to those saying "oh he just wants to make it like WoW" well, you are right, and you're wrong at the same time. Yes these are all functions and features that WoW has, but these are also features that most MMO's have these days. To say that they are trying to model WoW is just asinine... It's like saying "Oh you're building a plane and you're wanting to put wings on it? You're just trying to copy the Wright brothers." These are standard features that all MMO's need in order to thrive. I don't think the game is "dying" yet, but it does need to make some changes if it wants to flourish.

Thanks for the great feedback. I updated the OP with some additional things, including some further proof of my initial premise.

I'll try to keep the thread updated.

Can't believe people are still trying to use those stats to "prove" the game is dying, when the developer of said stats has already said thay they do nothing of the sort.

Lame thread is lame....

Loads of great suggestions, not too keen on macros though. Some people saying "BUT WHEN ITLL BE WOW FOR SURE!11!", so you don't want to have some of the basic foundations of a MMO in your game - you instead want to play a ****** reduction of WoW without any of the basic functionality. Christ what is up with paying customers these days and not wanting to try and make a change about their product, the fact your enjoying this sorry state of a game makes me feel like gaming is dead.

I started to read the priority thing and then...

WoW?

You can't. That's because Death is the essential condition of life, not an evil."

So, you're saying that any change made to this game that adds a feature similar to one present in WoW is a bad thing?

Good luck developing an even half-functioning game, then.

I agree with basically everything in the OP, with some priority changes (an automated LFG tool should be near the top and the first new feature they add after critical bug/optimization fixes).

That said, weird feedback in this thread. Lot's of replies saying that we can't implement things that are in the 10-12 million subscriber MMORPG that is, ostensibly, this games blueprint.

No.

The game needs changes/fixes/etc. However I'm patient as this is not my 1st MMO. I do not want a next WoW clone.
I want UI customization (similar to the one in GW), better optimization, class balance, dual spec, Warzone and Open World PvP improvements and a lot more.

But when I see in the 1st line "third party add-on support" and then "Add a combat log" in the 2nd marked as highest priority and a MUST...

I stop reading the rest. A lot of ppl probably did the same.

I do agree with a lot what You wrote but those 2 ideas just make this whole topic (FOR ME) useless.
