I'm out after the first month. Once I got to around level 35 I began to realise how shallow and samey side-quests and class quests had become, and (without spoiling anything) the end of the Smuggler storyline was really quite a letdown. (Well actually, Act 2 and 3 in general let me down) Ive got a few other characters up into mid levels and im starting to feel the same about them.

PVP is going to be the same three warzones, one of which I really dont find fun (Huttball), not to mention that every game of Alderaan civil war seems to play out exactly the same now. World pvp with very little reward is pretty much the final nail in pvps coffin for me.

Flashpoints are incredibly short on dialogue and story (other than the first few) and really don't innovate at all. Not to mention the bad things ive heard about Ops.

The Star Wars factor isn't enough to pull me through, unfortunately.

I will be but Bioware/EA really needs to the following imo

1. Proper customer support
2. Fixed the bugged textures. How was this not fixed during the beta or QA?
3. Crafting endgame because it's not worth it currently
4. More social feature or cantina features. I'd love some Pazaak, holochess, swoop racing whatever just add something because Cantina's are empty and I miss SWG's cantinas.
5. More space content and ofcourse improved.

It just occurred to me that the forums will be clear of the haters in just two weeks, as they've all sworn they're quitting after the free 30 days!

I'm on the fence. If I don't sub for the next month(s) I'll probably come back to it later but it really depends on what else is out there that catches my attention.

Questing is shallow and the same, over and over again, and I am really having a hard time committing over an hour to this game without wanting to log off and go find something/anything else to do. I never felt that way with WoW but certainly felt that way with Rift while leveling (also, not going back to wow so keep your panda comments up your butt).

My Powertech can't even find a guild...little lone a group...despite actively asking people and asking in general chat. Even replying to guild recruitment spams get me nothing in the way of an invite or a response. Dunno if people are just wanting to single player to 50 or if my BH chat is broken or what is going on but it is more than a little ridiculous.

My Consular on the same server is in a guild and does world bosses and group content whenever I log in...so what gives? Are the Empire players that anti-social? Too bad I like the BH much more than the Consular.

Don't get your hopes up. I'm betting many don't cancel and will still be stirring up the hornet's nest. It's like their form of entertainment.

With that said I would dearly love to have flaws pointed out, just in a constructive, mature manner. Too much to ask in the internet age I fear.

I've been lurking the forums for some time now. This is the first post that was actually worth posting in. I couldn't agree with the OP more. I'm enjoying SW:TOR immensely. If others are not, well, I'm sorry to hear that.

I expect I'll be enjoying the sound of my lightsaber firing up for some time to come.

No

error 9000 - what would I be subscribing to?

I'll keep an eye out for bug fixes and see how this whole venture faires for sure, but this has been the most dissapointed gaming experience since I started playing Everquest in 99, which should say something cause I actually had to go through swg's NGE, and I also had to play through the first months of Vanguard with an Nvid card.
Im not a fragile flower, but - I cant even play the game haha - so

No, and error 9000 affects thousands of players, - so if you love the game guys, you should make sure you're not ignorant about what is going on down in the csr forums. - We are not people not subscribing because we DONT WANT to play. WE CANT PLAY!
