Maybe he saw the quality of SWTOR and the sword combat... Explains the timing as well, he had a few weeks to go "no, this can't be real"

Yes I'm afraid it is.

On a serious note tho it does sadden to see one of the people who actually were a big part of my childhood pass away, even tho he was a stunt actor still, he was atleast a great athlete on top of that and I'm sure starwars would not mean the same as it means now to some of us. The fights were beutiful and very well shot, they resonated on so many levels... If only it wouldn't have stopped

I couldn't believe it when I read the article and found out he was an olympic fencer. I guess Lucas truly went all out for films.

Thanks to him, the Starwars 4-6, Lord of the Rings movies, Princess Bride, Pirates movies had the best swordfights ever.
