Ok, step by step so no one gets lost........

1. Hover over Community tab on top Right of your browser on SWTOR.com

2. Click Forums

3. Read Community News TOP ARTICLE dated 12.13.2011 titled "Welcome to STAR WARS: The Old Republic!"

(For you convenience here is the first and most relevant sentence)

"12.13.2011 - This is a big day for us; we are launching Star Wars™: The Old Republic™, BioWare’s largest and most ambitious project to date"

Also feel free to read StephenReids dev tracker posts where he constantly explains the process and logic behind how they are going about the LAUNCH of the game and why they are slowly letting people in , in-order to make their LAUNCH smooth (heh)

Lastly............

When someone who didnt pre-order (i doubt anyone who PLANS on playing the game didnt) gets into the game on the 20th of December, and he walks up to a level 50 player...

Do you think hes gonna consider the 20th of December "Launch" ?

Get over it kids, this is the games "launch" just as the first day of RIFT's early access was "launch".........

The OP is wrong. He didn't read what the co-founders of bioware put out today I guess.

You logic is flawed.

Early Game Access (up to 5 days) Two free days of EARLY GAME ACCESS...

EARLY GAME ACCESS does not mean Launch.

And you are not entitled to get EARLY GAME ACCESS (unless of course you pre-ordered day one)

Game has not gone gold yet.
Subscriptions are not available.
You cannot enter your retail code AND get associated items with it.
Aside from a select Euro countries, no one else has a physical copy (or digital retail code).

SWTOR launches World Wide Dec 20 2011!

How has the game not gone gold when you said it yourself that there are physical copies out there? At this point it's all semantics really but whose side are you going to take? Some naysayers on the forum who say it isn't launch, or Bioware's own employees, community managers, and a letter from both their co-founders, whom are CEO and VP who say it is?
