I know its been asked before, but I think some form of an explanation is justified. I initially heard about this game in 2004ish when I was looking for the bloodfin emu, and basically forgot about it until I heard the website started here. We have been patiently waiting and the great updates started to flood in, then the trailer then more good info, then it stopped. Instead of EA, and BioWare, talking about it in obscure places, conference calls etc, something to clear the air needs to be stated here. We have all been very patient for info and sean and the folks there have been very cool and given us what they have, however, what the heck happened, why have you gone from full steam ahead to nearly all stop? Seems as if your bosses believe the mayan calender or something and dont want to waste money on a game that will only be live for a year and they dont want to waste the resources.

They're probably all very busy making the game be as awesome as it can possibly be.

Major updates on the game's progress can't be expected every week.

I personally don't like being coaxed by the possibility of a 'real' update every Friday, instead receiving yet another storytelling update.

Concept art and lore don't satisfy my hunger to play an MMO. Give me something to theorycraft.

considering we are the ones that will be paying a monthly fee to play the game, yes we do.

You aren't automatically part of ones that will pay any fee - so no you don't.
Until you pay, you have no entitlement.

Being a member of a forum and saying you'll pay does not equal actually paying.

The OP seems confused.

Sean posted a couple weeks ago telling us that updates were gonna be slow for a while because they were in the middle of reworking some stuff and wanted the most accurate information possible for the updates.

That's not an obscure conference call. That's a post right on these forums.

considering I have played just about every bioware game that they have published, i have helped pay for this game already, a customer is a customer. The only entitlement I see here is that from bioware to to flood us with information then shut off the valve, its like going to a strip club and only seeing a bare ankle.

You know, that used to be the "sexy" thing way back in the day. So, it's all good.
