Never seen a valid argument against the LFD

Here's one, it promotes laziness, players not questing and simply "leveling" via instances, it promotes loot rolls based off greed not need, it promotes rude and dismissive behavior in groups ... yeah LFD is such a grand and wonderful thing.

None of that has a single shred of anything to do with the tool.

People who want to level doing dungeons will do it whether there is a tool or not; they just join any dungeon group advertised. Also, without a decent LFG tool, you're sitting in fleet spamming general anyways, not questing.

Rolls based off greed will be rolls based off greed regardless of how your group is assembled.

Oh I get it, your real gripe is a cross server tool that adds a layer of anonymity to the player.

All we need is a server wide tool.

I'd like to think that you're serious with such statement, as spamming Trade or General for hours will prevent you from doing so, not the LFD that works in the background while you are OUT QUESTING OR GATHERING.

Second, the tool doesn't promote anything as it's just a game feature PEOPLE use for their own benefits. If so, you can blame the PEOPLE who use it for such ends, not the tool itself.

I agree with this. The negatives of LFD far outweigh the positives. That is just a hard and plain fact. There really is no room for discussion on the subject.

I prefer the game without a cross realm LFD.. Nothing I can say will convince you otherwise.

People gravitate towards laziness and efficiency. Blizzard like to promote this with giving everyone access to cross realm LFD.. SO if you don't want to do anything but sit in capital city spamming LFD and ninja stuff all day long.. Then you will use this tool and there are plenty of people apparently who enjoy doing this. This is one of the reasons I am not playing WoW

Dual spec gives people the option of signing up to LFD as a tank or a healer just to beat the queues. So they play a role that they have no experience at.

A LFD tool (not cross server) allows you to put yourself in a lobby while actually doing something else while waiting for a group to pop up.

It doesn't need to port you, all it needs to do is help you find a group based on content ou want to do.
