I actually found the balloon ride relaxing the first time I did it (photo-shoot anyone?) but I did find it pretty tedious on my alts... not that anyone really NEEDS those datacrons. They are definitely not going to make or break any character.

I've seen folks parked at those datacrons offering to pull people up... not frequently but it happens.

The balloon ride was beautiful, the first time and second times It is an optional thing though. Heck, I'd much rather that than the pipe hopping ones. I've spent more time with those than I want to admit.

Speaking for myself, I will probably never try to get the Tatooine blimp datacron because it seems like too much of a headache. But it's not like the game hinges on me doing it so it's really not a big deal at all.

Long and slow does mean harder. [Umm, the time delay--slow movng balloon]. Speed up the ride cycle rather than waste time on that slow ship to West tatooine. Besides, the difficulty lies in the jump, not the length of the ride.

Yeah that one is the pain, at least on the Imp side. Ever since they changed /stuck a four man crew just doesn't cut it anymore.
