I just landed on Balmorra to continue my class quest as a BH. When out in Sobrik, I tried to take the first side quest I see, but everytime I try, my computer freezes up. I'm not sure why, this never happened with any other NPC before.

Having the same issue, on a sith Master quest, and or any quest my game will freeze while loading up the cutscene. this issue is detrimental to progressing my character and really irritating me. Cant esc out or alt f4, i have to go into task manager and close down swtor. While frozen i can move my mouse cursor and still hear music.

BW really needs to fix this bs, i cant even play the effing game. My gametime is being stunted while they make money off my subscription -_- the least they can do is provide some top of the line customer service damn.

That's exactly what's happening with me, except I can't even use task manager. I either wait two hours for my PC to unfreeze, or ragequit and do a forced shutdown because I can't take it anymore.

Bump. It'd be nice to have at least some constructive response.

I'm sure someone else is having this issue or can at least recommend a fix

Did you guys download the game from Origin or load up from a physical disc? I'm having a similar issue, though my wife, who is using an identical PC is not. The only difference for us is that I downloaded my game via Origin and she installed hers via CD. Curious to see if that's a common element.

I just had this happen to me randomly during a game of huttball and everything apart from the cursor and sound froze up for a few moments until the task manager eventually popped up and the game closed.

I installed my game from the retail discs.
