Realisticly though. What's the real date? Does it start with October? I'm thinking realisticly October.
On a scale of 1-10 10 being the greatest. Where does "a quality level we are comfortable with" fall? For fun let's just shout out a number. I'll start. 6

KoTET? I Start it on december and end it on may. Chapter per 3 weeks. War on Iokath? .. Didnt start yet because i played uprisings one per 2 weeks. I laugh on ppl who spaming on fleet "there is nothing to do" because they done everything on first day before update.

Every major update they've released in the last two so-called 'expansions' has been riddled with bugs, even when it was delayed. This will be no exception. At least they're taking care of a game-breaking bug they know about rather than just letting us get screwed by it as per usual and then sending the affected players the boilerplate response "will be fixed in a future update" which never comes...

Honestly, I don't care about the delay. I'm not looking forward to this update at all, for various reasons I can't elucidate on the forums at this time. I have no problem waiting another day or two before realizing the update is indeed as horrible as has been advertised and making the decision to unsub.

Bioware goes silent for months, only paying lip service to forum posts to make the more naïve people here feel "noticed" and "important". The bug in this patch has been described as basically game breaking. How does this only get noticed a day before release, please if you can explain tell me how, when so much time has expired since the last content release? It is a little odd don't you think?

Oh and everyone please don't try the glib "if you're not a coder you can't understand this or critique it" argument. It's a weak argument and you're basically saying no one can criticise any creative piece of work ever unless they made it.
Look, I get the frustration especially since this is the second time there has been a delay with content release, the previous one having been Iokath. Yet you have to understand there are tons of things happening behind the screens they aren't focusing on one thing at a time but have to develop multiple things at the same time. And you very well know EA is being greedy with resources and doesn't shove a lot of it in SWTOR's direction. They're trying to do their best with what they have, so yeah, sometimes you may notice a gamebreaking bug just before launch.

However, I will agree with you that just straight up telling us "guys, you know we have limited resources, we're doing our best for you but this, this and that happened, let's be open and transparent with you" would have garnered more sympathy and understanding than the recent silence we have gotten. Because it doesn't take much to see the recent posts were to just have something said on the forums.
ATTENTION: Include the Twi'lek into the 3 new eye colours from Appearance Options: Expanded Selections in the next patch. It was a huge mistake to not do this from the start as they are being grossly neglected as a playable species.
Oh yeah, and this is my referral link!

I don't think they can talk about having limited resources, it would make them look bad.
Same with Keith's roadmap needing extra time(the first one). We all know why, but it's just like he can just flat out say the exact reason. Though I think be slid it in there anyway in a less obvious way.

Wow for someone who has been hating on this game for as long as you have I believe I've unsubbed more than you in that period and, based on your forums posts, I enjoy the game more.

Talk is cheap.

Did you really ask that? Especially after you yourself said you like the story?

I don't know how long you have been around, so let me explain this: when you have done every aspect of the game for hundred times, of course you would want to get all the new stuff asap. Especially if you have lots of free time to spare. 1 Chapter per 3 weeks? 1 uprising per 2 weeks? I have a very hard time believing you played the game that slowly. But even if you did, doesn't mean everybody else is doing the same or should be doing the same.

P.S. For those, who says "Cut Bioware some slack" - no, I won't. They failed this game countless times, from failure to create a good story to failure in fixing bugs and delivering content in time. They do not deserve any slack.

Yeah but that's kinda the point here. Some major bugs to Iokath still remain. The game is riddled with bugs that have just been left with little to no acknowledgement of them after they give up on em. I'm sure EA is not overwhelming them with resources but they have a long history and know what's needed, what's expected and what their part should be. They're not gonna waste money on this just because developers make bad decisions and execute poorly. They'll sit back, collect what cash does come in and pull the plug when it's just not worth it anymore. TOR legacy means nothing to them. Bioware needs to step up and save their product with better choices and execution of new AND existing content. Saying it's all EA's fault will not help anyone. Seems they are mainly limited by themselves. SWTOR is probably the time out for the worse people in the company or a training ground for upstarts. The critical bug is in the office.

I wish I knew what was going on, why the delay. There must be conspiracy, but the dark side clouds everything.

Why don't you guys do what you did with the Iokath delay and give it another week, rather than seeing if whatever is wrong can be fixed in another day? At least that way we will have a firm date and you will have a decent amount of time to sort the Umbara bug properly (personally I think the traitor is on strike & refusing to play the role of traitor as he/she has so far been beloved and wants to keep it that way )
