A couple of times now, I wanted to coordinate with another player, or tell that non-PT non-Sorc guarding on top of the node to move farther away without causing confusion in ops chat, only to find out that the player "doesn't exist".

Is there still a reason to prevent us from whispering to players on the other faction?

Maybe they will add something in the future. It's a catch 22. Cause you want to tell the player in secret about his mistake without calling them out. However, on the other end it's why we have ops chat, to communicate. Mentioning it in ops chats could make another players aware of that position tip. Also, to let the rest of the team know who and what class is guarding. Plus you gotta make not to come across like an a** as well. Some players tend to rage back when they receive helpful tips.
