Nerf grav/tracer omg!

freaking nerf grav round and tracer missiles jesus christ all they do is spam them and its 1 button wonder. its a joke thats not funny anymore nerf them they need to be nerfed badly.

 

 

either greatly reduce them in damage give them a 1 minute cooldown or make the ability cost alot to use and i mean alot.

 

 

i know this will get trolled by troopers and bountyhunters that want to keep there 1 button spam wonder abilitys but tracer missiles and grav round need a dam nerf period.

Unfortunately it is the best and most optimized way to play the class (as far as damage goes). The quality of pvp needs to be textured better imo.

 

It does get annoying to get hit by the same move over and over only to die to it.

I'm going to assume you're melee and I'm also going to assume that you just started pvping. You know that wonderful little ability known as an "interrupt?" Guess what, it's not just for healers or pve, it even has a range that's a hell of a lot further than your melee range. Learn to use it.

Maybe you should look to your own faction he Operative before you start talking.

Just the fact that you say grav round in op is a joke.Maybe try the class beore you scream nerf. I have 3 hotbars full of skills etc. Alot more then just bashing one button.

 

He said tracer missile as well. So that is both sides.

 

Have you.. considered interrupting the 1.5s cast time on Grav Round? Silencing it, perhaps? LoS kiting someone who needs a full GCD to do any damage to you?

 

 

Some of us don't have an interrupt.

This is wrong, pyrotechs burst and mobility are superior to arsenal which is much more important in pvp than sustained damage.

 

Go ahead and nerf tracer missile, anyone who wants to have a chance against melees has already gone pyrotech anyways

grav round/tracer does need to be reduced some... I mean, those alone are bad. The people who actually spec for it and use the abilities that benefit from it? THAT is a nightmare to watch.

 

1 minute cooldown though? No... bad.

you mean you havent had a commando drop incendiary round on you then proceed to hit you with assault plastique and start a charged bolts>high impact bolt>plastique goes boom combo?

 

 

 

that is some pain right there.

 

Yaknow my commando was Gunnery before. That spec is sooo immobile its insane.

 

However I resepc'd to Assault Specialist recently and quickly discovered the combo you described.

 

Mobility: Check

Spamable Slow: Check

Burst: Check

DoTs that aren't affected by Armor: Check.

 

Love that spec.

Prove it. I've never seen this happen. I don't have a problem believing that it could be true, however I've never seen (in game, on a video or elsewhere) a pyrotech out do a tracer spamming merc.

And even we get Concussion Charge knockback interrupt and possibly Stockstrike's knockback if we talent it. :cool:

 

Knockbacks are not interrupts, and they don't work if your attacker has resolve.

Knockbacks also do not prevent the user from using said ability for several seconds.

Same can be said for sith shooting lighting out of every orifice. All I do in pvp is dance around the zone jigging to the ten million people who rolled sith doing nothing but shoot lightning at me.

 

Well to be fair we have the same lightning animation for 7 different abilities.

When u say "lightning" you are actually talking about 4 diferent abilites. Add that to shielding and sprinting and the Inqs use at least 6 abilities.

 

Its more than the Tracer/Grav spammers know how to do.

hit by the same move over and over ? if you live that long from the 1st tracer misile or grav round that is because they hit so dam hard.

 

and abusing the most stupidly OP ability is optimising its just pure lazyness to win
