As it's the New Year I wanted to see your memories of SWTOR with a show and tell 2019!

 

Oldest character created, your favourite character and last but not least your most favourite outfitted character.

Oldest that I have a screenshot of. My sorcerer when she got her ship (August 27, 2011). Didn't think to take one of my earlier beta characters.

As far as my oldest character since launch, that would be impossible. I created characters across multiple servers on the same day. I'll narrow it down to 3, though, since they got played the most in the early days: Juggernaut (originally on Nathema), Commando and Guardian (both originally on Taro Blood).

As far as favorite dress, I can't decide. Same with favorite character. I have a couple of least favorites, but I'm an altoholic so I tend to like most of my characters the same.

I’ve reformatted or built so many PCs since 2011 and I always forget to backup or transfer the screen shots. So Ive started to just take iPhone snaps of the screen. They aren’t as good because they are older monitors, but they look fine on the iPad

I wish I still had some of my screen shots from our old APAC dalbora server.

Hey Luna, I have a question that’s a little off track. When you use imgur, does it make you wait 6000 secs till you can up load another pic?

Everytime I try to use it on my iPad or iPhone it does this. It’s one of the main reasons I never upload pics.

Hey Trixxie, Um...honestly I couldn't say because I haven't used my phone to try and load them and I don't have an iPad. Is there anyway you can upload them with your desktop? That's how I do it and there doesn't seem to be an issue. It's a shame you're having issues, I'd like to see your outfits. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Size matters. If they're .bmp files, then they are huge and will take longer to upload, so change any .jpg or .png. You can do this easily in Paint. Just open the pic, clip or resize if desired, then use Save As and select .png or .jpg.

Videos are pretty big files, too, compared to pics and will take much longer to upload.

It could also be slowed down by your connection speed with your iphone.

I can usually upload a single pic to imgur in a matter of seconds (PC). Of course, I'm in the States and have a pretty fast connection with a nearly 20mb/s upload speed. I've never used my phone to upload to imgur, but when I send pics through text, it usually takes a few minutes for it to go through.

Anyway, point being: It could be one or more of a few things that's causing that for you.

I made a collage of all the fashion shots I took last night. (All 84 or them). I used a program I haven’t before, so some may be doubled in the collages

It’s not actually the size or my net connection (fibre 50mb upload). It’s them saying you just did a post and now you have to wait x amount of seconds with is 60 minutes.

I’ve read all their terms and conditions for iPad uploads through their app and says you can upload 50 images. No where does it say you have to wait in between. But I’ve also read many people have this problem.

So I’m going to do my collection and edit it into one big pic to upload. Otherwise it would take me 84 hours to upload the ones I just took.

Very nice. The JC always had nice clothing options even way before the cash shop clothes. The embroidered dress is a favorite of mine. I remember chuckling to myself, because Kira would get an outfit like that at one point, and I felt like I was her companion...her in the fancy dress, me in a burlap sack, waaaaay back in the dark ages before you could even hide your helmet or unify your colours lol.

Sounds like I made my characters at the best time for virtual fashion then!

I actually got another model of this dress chest piece with my JK that I had started first, which I mailed and used for a while. I never used a skirt bottom though, I always thought it looked... clunky? With the flap in the front.

The bracers are the ones that Nadia come with when she joins you.

Also, the tiara is the very first from the Tython missions. I always thought it looked nice for this model, simple and frames her tattoo/face marking well.

Sure! Old username though, I don't really follow football much these days.

I also really like the female JC voice actress. JC is one of very few roles I have found where I don't like Nolan North. I think he's better in more expressive roles (I wish they had picked him for the male smuggler).

I only watch the big stuff like the WC, Champion's league, and the Euros. My husband is a massive Juve fan though.

I only played a Republic trooper because of Jen Hale's voice. Dark side was like renegade Shep for me. I might give the JC a go though. I should at least play all the class stories to experience everything.
