So, for those who are tired of text-based sigs, there is a sneaky way to use the ones like enjin.com as follows...

 

First, save your custom-designed sig as a PNG file so you won't get an annoying white background/border. Then, upload your sig to Photobucket. So far as I can tell, it's the one place where you can link pictures from to the forum, but only in your post, not your default signature. And for everyone's sake, keep the size reasonable, or we'll lose the ability to post pictures at all.

 

You'll end up with something like this:

For those who are BB-code savvy, yes, there is a space in the first tag that doesn't belong. Needed it in order to show the code, or else it will stick the image in the code-box.

 

Keep that in a text file on your desktop or anywhere else convenient for you to grab, then at the end of your posts, copy-paste that code into your post at the bottom. As a result, you'll end up with a signature like at the bottom of this post.

Nice pic though. I just find the Enjin selection to be sorely lacking in... everything when it comes to making something that I actually want.

I'm guessing it's mostly to stop forum clutter and is only active in the Community sub-boards because of the Fan Art section.

 

Bioware's attempt to not have horizontal scrolling on their forums leaves a lot to be desired, however.

Nice I wish they would allow us to put them into our signatures, but I guess this will have to do.

 

If you put [center ] [/center] around the image location it will center in for you as well.

You cannot have picture signatures, nor can you have actual pictures in your posts outside of the Community sub-board.
