Creovex
Anyone else enjoying this retrospection to games such as Rebel Assault that is Space Combat? I have to admit, being in my 30s now takes me to good ole 1993 when Rebel Assault came out and it was my first CD game on my dads computer. How I remember how big the boxes were that they came (about 8.5 x 11) and excitement of not having floppy disks like I did with Wing Commander. Heck, I sat my kid down the other day to try out the space combat on the easiest mission just to see what it was like to be in my old mans shoes 20 years ago. Anyways, now that that part is enjoyable, lets talking about making the first expansion a push into the X-Wing vs Tie Fighter arena with a bunch of new ships and plenty of combat. Tremk
they have 4-5 missions and thats it. from lvl 30 to 50 its the same 4-5 missions with higher level ships but same settings and same paths and same everything. I was expecting 8-10 levels since its a mini game but they redefined that. My iPhone games have more depth.
Ringwraiths
Some suggestion to the space combat (mini game). Well I do admit I kind of like the space combat mission, but BW can do some expansion on the above in future if there are addons. Have an option of changing to ship cockpit play. I believe some players would really like to have a feel of engaging the enemies in cockpit it seem you are really in the ship itselfGuild Space Mission - just like flashpoint. We can have different classes and ship flying around engaging enemies that would be greatCreate more space combat instead of just a handful only. As this will make SWTOR not like WOW which toons only running around in the cities, jungle and fight fight fight well its kind of boring dont you think The above are just suggestion....as I really would like to see more for space combat

Honestly, the space combat is fun. However, to compare it to Wing Commander (especially WC III or WC IV) or the X-Wing and Tie-Fighter games isn't very accurate. Those games were true flight sim style games and even though they are close to 20+ years older then this game their flight mechanics/combat/etc...ARE MUCH BETTER THEN THIS GAME'S SPACE COMBAT. Granted the space combat is only a small section (essentially just a mini-game) of this game but still...When 20+ year old games are of higher quality... MiraBindo
Omg yes. the first star wars game i played was Rebel Assault II on the old *** PC when i was like 7. i loved that game. I'm glad im not the only one who had a flashback to that when i tried space combat. Everyone who complains about space combat being lame and on rails and **** obviously never played Rebel Assault. Sure theres only a couple missions, but as a little sidebar it's nice.
