I was wondering who would be the best team with a guardian, suck as a trooper and and knight for example

well if the person is going to be a tank i would say healer so Jedi sage, commando or Scoundrel would be good.

But i would like to say play the class that you want to play it would be more fun for you

Guardian and Sage is a valid combo.

 

But so is Guardian and Sentinel/Gunslinger/Commando/Scoundrel also. It's just a different way to handle battles.

 

Guardian and Vanguard might a bit weird.

I play a Combat Medic and my first choice to group with is always a Guardian - Commando's are fantastic single person healers

Speaking as someone with a lvl 50 defense spec guardian.

 

I'd say my preference for a 2nd class being played as part of a duo would be DPS of some sort. I went all the way to 50 using Kira from the time I got her, and only used Doc rarely, when fighting a nasty Elite. I found the added DPS was more useful 99% of the time, because we killed so much faster that I didn't need healing.

 

The times I play with Doc I end up with a almost if not completely full HP bar, but it takes a good bit longer to kill stuff.

 

So I'd say perhaps a DPS spec Shadow or Sage, maybe a Commando, or either type of Smuggler would be good. A DPS Commando or Scoundrel could be useful because even though they're DPS spec they still have some healing to keep the guardian up when things get ugly.

 

I've duo'ed with my friends Commando a couple times in the 40's. He had out his healer companion I had out Kira, and we just mowed though stuff non-stop.
