i dont see an option to do so, and with the many interactive, personalised, fully voiced cutscenes in this game id really appreciate it if i could actualoly see them without the chat window suddenly obscuring part of a character because someones chatting about what they watched on tv.

 

if its not an option, id like a toggle for it to be an option for people like me who actually want to soak in the effort put into these cutscenes.

You would have to minimize your chat screen before the cut scene starts. I like to have my chat screen open so I can still chat with friend during the scene if I need to.

There is a "arrow" button in the left corner next to the chat window, it closes and opens it and is clickable during conversations (cutscenes). Edited December 26, 2011 by MeTrippleThree

I must say I too would welcome an option that disables chat during cutscenes. Instead I now have chat disabled during questing and only turn it on during downtime (it is annoying to click on it during cutscenes, it breaks the immersion factor)

 

Ah well, a minor improvement for sure, but I still think it would be welcome.
