Balls of lightning taunt immune, not despawning after any amount of time, and keep spawning until we have way too many to manage. Would appreciate any insight from anyone who got him down this week. Alright I see. We haven't tried it because our tank who is geared to the teeth got destroyed by the explosion so we thought it was something else. (First attempt for us today, the stuff I listed was from strats that we've seen people post pre-patch 1.1). Gimpynewb Posted January 22, 2012 Share Posted January 22, 2012 The balls are mainly annoying as they can spawn from across the entire map and pretty much everybody has to move out of the way for it to reach you. Turn on enemy npc nameplates so that you can see the glitched out ones that goes invisible. They never despawn until it goes in contact with the person it targets. Ball lightnings gonna wipe the whole raid IF the guy who gets chased gets mind-trapped or thrown into the air, because after the mind trap ends the ball does not explode anymore. Sometimes the balls get invisible and when you wanna advance from step 2 to 3 the balls fall down to one of the platforms u wanna jump on =o (kidding!?) If you run with inq speed through a ball it wont explode, but does DMG to you. Sometimes ball lightnings "shock" you just b4 you are running into them which is kinda instant kill even with inq shield on.
