grandmthethird Posted June 4, 2012 Share Posted June 4, 2012 i don't know if i can see a sitcom in the starwars universe but that might just be my lack of imagination. although i can see han solo and 3PO in a sitcom setting. anyway as for would you be able to make one? if you wanted to use the name Star Wars or any of the registered trademarks or anything that lucasarts legal team could bite their teeth into to claim that you are infringing copyright, then you would need the backing or permission from lucasarts (i understand they are very strict on copyright) but if it was good enough who knows maybe they would back you when the makers of family guy went to lucasarts they were expecting flat no.
