Unsubscribe.

We've had so many gamers leave we have stopped telling them how. ;)

I was curious, so I went to look. It took me longer to log in than it did to find the unsub button(1). (You know, because I had to reach over and grab my phone with the security key app on it.)

 

(1) No, I didn't push it by accident. Y'all will have to put up with me for a while longer. Sorry.

I don't think there is an "unsub" button. You simply go to your account info and stop your recurring payment.

Also, when you "unsub" you are still "subbed" until your current subscription runs out. Your sub doesn't stop instantly and you don't get any refund.

Down at the bottom and it says something like cancel subscription. Can't tell you exactly what it says cause I already canceled. If you click that you'll get the exit survey. If you just remove recurring payment info instead you don't get the survey.

The link only shows up when you have a recurring subscription. The 60 days or any gametime-codes from third parties are one-time purchases, no need to cancel them, you aren't billed again (but also get no refund for unused game time.)

It says I have no play time but i'm still a sub on my account.

It was supposed to end today because first day of the month is ma billing day.

You are not losing your mind. The same thing is happening to me. My subscription has lapsed and yet I am still locked in as a subscriber with no cancel button. I have tried to PM Keith but no answer so far. Edited by Lundorff

Does it say "0 days"?

That means you are on your last day. It'll expire at the same time of day your sub started (not midnight, or any other fixed time).

it is a new bug. I have been here on and off since beta. The cancel button disappears when subscription expires now.

So have you been charged? Have you deleted your payment info?

 

Sounds like a bug where it didn't switch you to preferred. Just call customer service, they can go ahead and remove your sub access, features and what not that your somehow bugged into and you'll be in preferred status. Doubt anything Keith can do and most likely he say call customer service. They generally can't help with account / billing issues via the forum anyway.

I'd be calling customer service so you don't end up with any charges on your account. If you're logging into the game my guess is that they'll be well within their rights to charge you.

Uh.... this game has Free to Play/Preferred modes too, you know? They're not at all within their rights to charge you the sub fee when they also allow you to play for free. And even if it was pay-to-play, sub-only to log in, they wouldn't be.

 

And now I'm (again) worried about my own status.
