Although there is really no reason to bother since the 'VIP' area doesn't have anything diff than normal other than a merchant selling 1 item (a speeder for 2,500,000 creds) the place is ALWAYS dead.. Very fast, if you go to step on it to come down from the VIP area just as it's leaving and step into empty space, it'll beat you to the bottom and be there waiting when you go Splat... Seriously, somebody needs to change the music playing; the responsibility is on the VIP holders.
