I felt it was just making me feel inadequate in everything I tried to draw or paint. 3 or 4 projects ended up in trash. I think it was the direct cause of "art crisis" I had in Jan, which resulted in deleting 70% of my stuff from dA. Now I just draw without pushing myself to misery, or feeling like I'm wasting time chasing someone else's talent. That means I won't improve, but also means I am having more fun with it. When I draw I have a hard time making characters look like "themselves" The Quinn I drew looks nothing like him, but the ones you make really have that resemblance! It is something to be proud of! Sometimes I have to imagine a grid and draw "square by square" (I used to use a real grid, but don't need it any more).
