I was looking through the GTN and sorting it by quality. I noticed there was a Legendary quality. Yet I haven't seen anything that is Legendary quality. Is this ever going to happen?

There have been two items in the game of legendary quality: the wookie bolt blaster from the Cheven event and the crest of the dread masters from the hateful entity. The former can no longer be obtained, but the latter can. Both of them are BoP and thus you wouldn't find them on the GTN.

And neither is legendary anyway.

Also parts from the wookie weapon were legendary I've seen legendary barrel linked to me. Was called "master crafted".

And were a total waste of time.

 

They cost more to extract than a max level mod. But since they were not even max level it was cheaper to overwrite them.

I can confirm those two items are legendary, and provide more legendary items.

All of the Inheritance and Birthright Legacy gear is Legendary. It's not moddable because it's only meant to be a temporary gear-up for your new toons.

Inheritance is for toons around level 14 and Birthright is for toons around level 32

I would like to think Legendary item is meant to be rare, hard to obtain.

 

But the majority of swtor community seems to demand everything to be accessible.

 

So no.... I mean yes.... there will be legendary on the cartel market when the dev is desperate for more $$$.
