I get the feeling George Lucas just made the females into slave dancers because they had an exotic look to them. I don't see why twileks would make better slaves then any other race. They make great dancers, sex slaves and servants. Twis aren't used for back breaking slave labor like Wookies are. Yes, Wookies have been taken as slaves also. The rare few that stand against opression and slavery are quickly put down. The twilek people don't really have the means to stop a slave ring even if they tried. That's my view.
