I was curious if lets say I have, 39 wins / 50 losses but 1350 Rating as my highest rating. If I got my 40th win would it bring me into Silver? I ask this because one of my toons had 23 losses and 20 wins and with a highest rating of 1267 but the Icon for Bronze did not appear. So I wonder if having more losses than wins effect your placement.

Unless you're going for the top three it goes off of highest earned. So, regardless of win-loss if you hit the rating required and wins required you'd hit that ranking at the end of the season.

The icon on the left of your ranked arenas activity window next to your rating is not shown in bronze because you are below the required rating for bronze at the very moment. This doesn't mean that you didn't ever reach it, and you will for sure get bronze at the end of the season, but your current rating is not considered bronze anymore. Same goes for all the other rating tiers. I hope this helps you
