It's just fact, I have no raw data to show you, I just know that my server had 3:1 empire:rep guilds, without accounting for actual player numbers.. I would enjoy to play rep because well ya, most the more mature and structured guilds will be there. Sadly im not very keen on being solo (Even though its looking that way) all the time. Already pretty hard to get a flashpoint group on High imp pop server, cant only imagine how it be on the low pop rep side. I think I've gotten one Battle for Alderaan and one Voidstar out of 10+ Warzones now. I can deal with that. Imperial Light-sided SI, its interesting, anyway I chose Sorcerer its a lot better than my Juggernaut in PvP SI Sorcerer Corruption ftw. With a green lightsaber, no less.
