We need more ranked PvP on our server. One of the problems I feel is stopping it us from having a better Ranked schedule is the gear disparity. I propose a weekly Ranked night where we only use our weapons. Basically, naked Ranked. Only allowing mainhands and offhands would make the game more about skill than gear, and therefore be more acessible to fresh 50s, and those who dont normally partake in PvP. The first one will be next Saturday, December 15th at 5PM server time.

Great idea!

 

The only problem I forsee is (1) dishonesty and (2) if people aren't wearing armor, the TTK will be drastically reduced.

I had a blast playing naked ranked with End of Days tonight (thanks for the invite). You go down quick, and anybody can beat anybody really regardless of class or spec. It adds a twist and keeps things fresh for a change.

 

Scheduling naked ranked would be a little more difficult since other teams may que up to farm comms.

Well, I guess the dishonesty thing could be a problem... but we should at least try it once! We can judge wether to do it again from the way the first one turns out!

I think the release of WH for normal comms will bring ranked around again

I have to agree with the previous post. After Tue the gear difference is going to be very minimal. Will going without gear really be needed at that point?
