I like to pick my name from real life authors, they are quite lore fitting. I.E.: Bakunin, Kautsky, Leon (Trotsky), Jung. But on my Guardian I use the name Aléxandros which is a latin alphabet version (the ´ included) of the greek original name of Alexander of Macedonia. eltanincoso Posted July 19, 2012 Share Posted July 19, 2012 I named my Sentinel "Tykho" (after Tycho Brahe...astronomer, Star Wars, ) but most of my character names for this game and others I've played come from picking out a word in English (my primary language, OK, my only real language...) and then using a translator (like Google) to find a cool sounding word in another language. Usually tweak the spelling a bit or cut down the word. (My smuggler is named "Traff", from Creole, Traffikan..."smuggler". If you look at character names in SW, pretty much anything goes.
