Azzirith Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Ok... So my guild is getting ready for our first forray into Operations. We've currently got 12 lvl 50's, but a lot of them are tanks and healers. We currently have four tanks, five healers and four dedicated DPS. That said, what is the "normal" group make up for Operations, both 8 and 16 man? Would a group of two tanks three healers and the rest DPS work for 16 man, or would we be over cautious? Should we be trying to get some of our tanks and healers to back off and head over to DPS? Any help would be appreciated. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

jamble Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 There's really only a couple of fights that need more than 1 tank atm so 3-4 healers 2 tanks rest dps is a good setup. Ranged dps will typically have an easier time over melee too. (gharj, soa, xrr-3, rancor, karagga, foreman crusher all favour ranged dps) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Asperoth Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Our group has been going with 2 tanks(really only need one), 4 healers(could get by with 3 sages), and 10 DPS.
