How would the galaxie look then? Remember all thing's are purly speculation. I personal think that if darth sidous and darth vadar where never born the galaxie would be corrupt ineffecent complacent weak unable to maintan order. While they would be united in name there wouldnt be any unity. Planets looking out for number uno with little to no regard to others. The Empire actually brought strength to the republic or those who would eventually join the republic against the empire. Without the empire no would would get any balls or do challenging things. The empire molded and caused humans to evolve in a way because the weak and the pathetic were shed from the galaxy. Only the strong should survive. Govt as it gets older seems to lead to problems, look at rome, china etc. Basically something else would have come in and taken over before the vong ever got there.
