katiecacka Posted July 22, 2012 Share Posted July 22, 2012 can anyone tell me what the cap is for defense rating before you get diminishing returns? i put a bunch of augs on my tank and now after wasting my material I'm starting to think it was a waste. I'm open to all suggestion on what i should put as long as you explain why you feel that way and putting just because isn't a good reason lol. so if someone could help i'd be greatly appreciated. CitizenFry Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 For PVE: just keep stacking Defense, Shield, and Absorb Rating. All that matters is being able to take the hits. Try to keep your stats balanced roughly 20% Defense, 40% Shield, 40% Absorb for maximum survivability. For PVP: you probably want at least some amount of Crit and Surge, or you're just going to be an external HP pack for someone else. How much to weight offensive stats vs defensive stats, I can't help you, but the 20-40-40 guideline for your defensive stats still applies.
