On PTS you doubled price of summons so can you halve the duration of the cooldown?

say goodbye to those stocked up millions/billions of credits boyz. :D

Well, when you consider most things will now cost millions, there are going to be plenty of poor people. But the people they should be targeting with credit sinks will still be super rich. There will be an even bigger gap between the haves and have nots.

This will cause inflation problems on the GTN and it will probably increase the amount of credit spammers and people buying credits from third party sites.

It’s like printing money to fix a run away economy, it usually has the reverse affect to what you hope and cause more inflation than before.

This. All they're doing is creating an environment like we had in 2013ish. Plenty of rich folks (and getting richer with the advent of the CM) but most of the players were wallowing in gear debt because of trying to gear themselves and companions. Most of the casual players are going to be hard-pressed now to afford gear. The rng system on amplifiers is horrendously bad. I can't believe that didn't get shot down in the design stage. If they want to take chunks of change from those of us with $$$ to spare they should put more fluff in game that requires big chunks, like that gold sparkly thing on Dantooine, NOT add a massive credit sink to an integral part of the game that is going to affect every player.

Just like real life, the rich get richer, the poor get stomped on.....;)

On a serious note, even when they do introduce credit sinks, people complain. Look at dantooine, people cried about the 150 Million to get the achievment. It didn't do much to reduce any of the wealthy, just made it harder for the smiths to keep up with the jones'

You had people standing in the corner pouting about how stupid it was 'But they didn't want it anyway'

I don't think there is a solution to the credit sink, because it'll never reduce the rich players, and will only make the poor players envious.
