Less is more. With the conquest bonus changing to unlocked rooms versus filled hooks you can now do more interesting tasteful things instead of filling it up to the point of clutter.

So glad they have more personnel now cause they make desolate places come more alive.

That..is true .

Once this guy wanted to show me how the flagship..was it ? It wasn't a stronghold for sure, so I think it was the flagship. He said it was owned by his guild. And Man......it was like a cluttered BAZAAR! Lol Its like they just bough all the decoration avaible and just shoved them randomly around XD

I told him to hold a garage sale....cose I couldn't find the exit after getting in

Oh and since its Tattoine (You guys are nuts, Tattoine has 2 sun! you gonna become Lobster under that heat!) lol

1- a resort (many go for it, me ? No beach..screw the desert) .

2- You can make it a Jawa heaven XD scavenging and what not .

3- If you played I think it was in Kotor 2, Tattoine was also a hunting zone back then . You can populate it with a cantina like setting and use the space for hunting Lodge .

4- Swoop Bikes wouldve been good alas, there is none of that . (but you can place your speeder in a way that make it look like, there is racing going)

5- You can turn it in a resort for Noble or something . With fountain..cose Alderanian are wimps lol

7- You can make it a secret hideout for Zerka Corp!!!

8- Make it an exchange Stronghold, everyone know vilain don't sweat! lol

just some ideas

@To everyone who is a Pro at Stronghold Buziness: Noticed everyone shared info about where to get inspiration. But what about crafting vs Buying them from GTN ??

I brough my deco from GTN . I also know some are drops , from killing stuff but I couldn't tell you where they drop or from whom .

Some drop at flashpoints/operations and I think the only decos that drop from normal mobs in the game world are the dark and light datacrons. I suggest taking a look at the decos by source on TOR decorating. A lot of stuff has been added lately that can be obtained easily via reputation vendors:

That would depend upon the size of the suns and the distance Tatooine is from them.

Still it's a desert, and desert are HOT and Cold (at night) . Earth has only one Sun and the inexperienced can die in our desert . Now imagine 2 Suns on Tattoine!

And that is why on my balcony it is enclosed and used for a dining room for the padawans and teachers at my temple of light. In addition in the first large area outside I have also put up water falls and an covered sitting area in the garden.

Sith Acolytes need to be prepared for the harsh life that awaits them on their way to power.
So of course my Academy is on Tatooine, in the end it doesn't matter if they curse the hot sand of Korriban or Tatooine, if they survive they'll be stronger for it!

As for inspiration, a lot of people do list their stronghold publicly, just take a look at some of them via the terminals at the fleet. I found some really cool ideas there, like combining decorations. Slicing nodes+ table > table with a computer terminal on it. The hook system is restrictive at times but it's awesome what creativity still can do there.

You know, technically speaking, the Antarctic is a desert. Deserts are defined by the amount of rainfall, not the temperature.
Also, to be viable, Tatooine must lie in the "goldilocks" zone of it's star system.
And, to reiterate - the "heat" on Tatooine would still depend upon the size and distance of the suns, and the relative latitude of the Star Wars locations. The two suns of Tatooine could be relatively small, and/or relatively far away. The people could be living in a relatively northern zone that's not that hot, but just arid.

My Tatooine stronghold on the Satele Shan server is "Drifter's Marketplace Cantina".
I've tried to make it a bit like one of the "Mos" cities -- Mos Eisley, Mos Ila, etc.

The main upstairs entry point is about what everyone has recommended --
Cargo bay, legacy storage, guild storage, GTN kiosk, item modification station, and several vendors.
It comes out looking like a marketplace.

The balcony, of course, is a large social area with a music band, slot machines, dejarik tables, and such.

The two side rooms --
One is the medical bay, so I have medical vendors and the appearance modification station.
The other has all the disguise terminals, so people can change their appearance for roleplay.

After that, it's about what you'd expect --
A seedy cantina with dancers, a small cult shrine (semi-Rakata), a machine room (computers, workshop), a hydroponics room (plants), a barracks (mostly Mandos), a trophy room, and a food/restaurant area.

Only three things make it interesting --
1) My jawas are selling goods; an organized set of all crafting resource decorations. Very useful!
2) I change the huge item on the exterior landing pad halfway often, as it suits my mood.
3) The Rakata warriors are engaged in combat at the Sarlac pit. Best Deco Ever.

Catch Savaja (Empire) on Satele Shan. I'd love to tour your stronghold and I might have some spare decos for you!
