SpankGoesMad
As far as i understand SWTOR is considered as part of the EU. So my question is what would be the canon counterpart to it? Or is there even a "historic" backstory for the movies? Maybe you guys can shed some light on this for me
FlameYOL
Nothing. There's literally 0 material as of yet in canon's old republic era. There's some information regarding it though, check out Star Wars Reading Club, I believe he covers the comics which detail Canon Ancient Sith in more detail. SpankGoesMad
Well, that sucks. It just doesn't get to me why. I mean we can probably all agree that the Old Republic era has some of the greatest stories in SW. But maybe it's for the best since Disney took over. FlameYOL
I'm not keen on the entire reboot thing but I won't rain on your parade saying you can't enjoy the new canon, if it helps I genuinely think it's only a matter of time until they release Old Republic era content. Just keep in mind while they do adapt things from Legends that things might necessarily not be the same story, a few details are bound to change. MadDutchman
I'd be good with a canon Old Republic only if Filoni is running it (and I mean actually running it, not just sitting in the background). He's the only one that seems to actually give a **** about the old and loved material.
