Doing crew missions is taking too long people have told me there nodes from makeb but I cant seem to find them ,anyone got tips?

 

Open your map to full size. On the leftmost bottom side you will see several choices including "vendors," crew skills," etc. One of those choices is "Resources." Click that "on" and close the map. From then on a resource appropriate to your gathering skills will appear as an asterisk both on the mini-map that is always on your screen, and in the map's expanded node. The asterisk will appear WHETHER OR NOT you have a sufficiently high skill level to gather that item. Some times you come across stuff anyway, but clicking resources on makes it a little easier.

Slicing nodes are located near human locations, so look on the mesas with human settlements and areas like the Regulator camps.

 

Anywhere that is mostly beast or droids will probably not result in finding any slicing nodes - so areas like the abandoned drill platform (which is full of beast but no humans) and such are not worth searching.

 

Also when you first hit 400, only a couple of missions will appear. Just keep spamming missions and looking for nodes and once you get above 410, more missions will open.
