i think ill take pyro 8man HM parses. i dont think thres a lot who play this spec among the "hard core" guilds and it would be good to have an experienced player represent pyro / assault dps.

 

Hexing has some good ones up there, but I'll post some if you really want to use them

Hey, don't write off the Mercs so fast. :)

 

I'm little relaxed on raiding lately while we wait for new content, but here's some Pyro parses from 16 man:

All 8-man on the Harbinger. There's a few other folks who are better at Sage Balance (and more geared), but seeing as how they haven't posted yet... I usually end up bubbling/offhealing and getting taken enough on Raptus to totally kill my DPS/force and my pub guild hasn't downed Council yet (and I know that I'll be kiting).

I have an opinion on everything so feel free to disregard this comment if other ppl say something, I feel like we have something nice going with the Shadow/Assassin and Guardian/Juggernaut being the only classes we include from 8man. Seeing how C-Tor dominates with his hybrid specc here in the thread I don't see any reason to include 8man hybrid parse, it would be something else if it was some full Advanced Prototype/Tactics or Pyrotech/Assault Specialist as the only contribution is my worthless guildmate Cyntias fifteenth alt (Kyntia), but I say no to hybrid.

 

The point about this thread is (in addition to the ePeen it gives) also to be able to get a nice feeling about what DPS that classes makes in current PvE Content, we already have hybrid parses so that is no need to bring in from 8man, however if it was parses in speccs we don't have, I would be totally positive. You said in the start that you brought in parses from 8man even if it was marauder for example to "fill up the list", these parses were later replaced with their 16man counterparts and I think this is how we should continue. If someone posts parses of speccs we don't have in the thread, it should be taken into consideration, but if it's parses from speccs we already have, I don't really see the need.

For the MM/SS Snipers/Gunslingers,

 

it seems replacing Trickshot/Followthrough with QD/TD will give you more DPS. It's not something we could test before the killable dummy and now some people have shown that among the 3, Snipe/Ambush/FT and Charged Burst/Aimed Shot/TS, FT and TS is the least damage. Replacing it with QD/TD should give a slight boost in damage.

 

Before I would replace Aimed Shot with Quickdraw in the rotation but apparently that wasn't the optimal rotation.

Yeah i agree with you. Just would like other people's opinions. That and C-tor recently i noticed as been testing and filling out the spots for the other VG/PT specs as well. I first put in his Hybrid parses and his recent posts have been of Assault.

 

@ctor Do you use 2/22/22 or 3/18/X and how much crit rating do you have?

I run 110 crit from my earpiece right now, but I plan on buying the power/surge earpiece. If you run 2/22/22, you should definitely have a little crit. I plan on trying 8/22/16 on my 2/22/22 bosses next week. The extra bonus to mainstat from my FR relic in 8/22/16 seems to be pretty decent so far, so I am most likely going to just run full power. Crit rating kinda sucks with 8/22/16. I dummy parsed a couple times with the new relics and 8/22/16 is significantly better now.
